Dinesh R has joined OYO Rooms, online aggregator of budget hotels, as CHRO. Prior to this he was director, compensation & benefits, Asia Pacific at Coca Cola.
Dinesh, an alumnus of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), started his career with ITC as HR generalist at the company’s Munger manufacturing unit, in 2003.
Two years later, he moved to Hewitt Associates as compensation consultant, responsible for all executive compensation consulting for northern India.
In 2009, Dinesh joined Bharti Enterprises as group compensation and benefits consultant, where he was promoted as head-rewards, Airtel Africa, within a year. He spent two years at Airtel Africa before moving to Coca Cola.
OYO Rooms operates in around 165 Indian cities through more than 4500 hotels, offerings 45,000 rooms. Having established its market leadership in India, the company has also recently launched operations in Malaysia.
