GEODIS, the global transport and logistics company, has elevated Shannon Leffler to the position of executive vice president – human resources, Americas. She will begin her duties in the new role starting January, 2022.
Leffler has been associated with GEODIS for over 14 years now.
This alumna of Luther College and the University of Iowa, began her career in HR as an employee relations specialist with Harman International, back in 1994 for a period of three years.
Later, she joined Presbyterian Homes as corporate HR manager, in 2002.
After a successful four year and eight months at Presbyterian Homes, she moved to GEODIS, the supply chain operator, in 2014, as director – human resources. Less than three years later, she became senior HR manager, a post she successfully held for over 14 years.
In September 2016, she became director – human resources. She also served as VP – human resources (field) for five years starting 2017.
Since March 2019, she has been senior vice president – human resources, based out of Carlisle, Pennsylvania. She has been managing the regional human resources department for the Company in the Americas, including the US, Canada and Latin America.
In her new role as executive vice president – human resources, Leffler will lead a team of over 100 professionals and work to attract, retain, develop and engage the supply chain workforce.
Leffler steps into the shoes of Tom Drury, who has been elevated to the position of executive vice president – strategic development for GEODIS in Americas.
GEODIS has over 450 employees and five warehouses across 15 locations in India.
