    100% placement with highest CTC of Rs 49 lakhs at TISS

    At the end of the final placement process, for the 2021-23 MA in human resource management and labour relations (HRM&LR) batch of The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai, 64 out of the 66 participating students received a minimum package of Rs 20 lakhs. While there was 100 per cent placement, the highest CTC stood at Rs 49 lakhs, which is 16.42 per cent higher than the previous year. The average CTC of the top 10 and top 25 per cent was Rs 39.29 lakhs and Rs 35.45 lakhs, respectively.

    Of the 66 participants, there were 23 women. The mean CTC was Rs. 27.22 lakhs and the median CTC was Rs 25.75 lakhs, an increase of 13.56 and 14.44 per cent, respectively, compared to last year.

    Pre-placement offers (PPOs) were given to 27 students.

    The placement process saw 42 companies participating. Some of the big names were Accenture, Accenture Strategy, Aditya Birla Group, Asian Paints, Deloitte India, Flipkart, HUL, ITC, Korn Ferry, Marico, Nestle and TAS.

    Deloitte India rolled out the highest number of offers followed by Asian Paints, ITC and Kotak Mahindra.

    After being absent for a while, other big firms, such as L’Oréal, Shell, Sterlite Power, and Texas Instruments were back for the placement process this year. Amongst the first-time recruiters were Google, IDFC First Bank, PI Industries, Pine Labs, ReNew Power, and UPL.

    Maximum candidates were hired by firms in the FMCG/FMCD domain, followed by consulting, conglomerates, and engineering/technology.
