Kisna plans major hiring push to support retail growth

The planned hiring follows a strong recruitment drive in the current financial year

Jewellery retailer, Kisna, the flagship diamond and gold jewellery brand of the Hari Krishna Group, is set to significantly expand its workforce as it accelerates growth across India. The company plans to add around 1,200 new employees during 2025–26 to strengthen its retail network, scale its omnichannel presence and build long-term organisational capability.

The planned hiring follows a strong recruitment drive in the current financial year.

During FY25, Kisna onboarded nearly 1,000 employees across a range of retail-facing and corporate roles. The additions were aligned with the company’s continued expansion into new markets and the deepening of its presence in existing ones.

The company’s talent strategy reflects changing consumer behaviour in India’s jewellery market. With younger customers and modern women playing a growing role in purchase decisions, Kisna has been building teams that blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary capabilities. New roles have emerged across areas such as jewellery design, digital engagement, data-led decision-making and brand storytelling, alongside investments in leadership pipelines and frontline retail staff.

Beyond its retail and corporate workforce, Kisna’s operations are supported by a large manufacturing base. Its Surat facility employs more than 1,700 people, forming the backbone of its design, production and quality processes. This integrated model allows the brand to maintain control over craftsmanship while scaling volumes to meet rising demand.

The upcoming hiring phase is expected to focus on strengthening execution across physical stores, online channels and supply chain operations. By investing steadily in people, Kisna aims to support consistent growth while maintaining trust, quality and accessibility in its offerings.

The company’s emphasis on workforce expansion signals a long-term approach to growth amidst stuff competition. The hiring push underlines Kisna’s intent to build resilient teams that can support expansion, adapt to evolving consumer preferences and sustain value creation across markets.
