He also oversaw HR for customer service and business operations across India.
Sethi’s career spans more than two decades across BFSI, FMCG, manufacturing, retail and services. He began as a management trainee at Patanjali Foods in 2003, followed by a stint as a senior officer – corporate HR at ICICI Bank from 2004 to 2005. He then worked as HR officer at Larsen & Toubro from 2005 to 2007.
Between 2008 and 2010, Sethi gained international exposure in the UAE. He was assistant manager – group HR at Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group in Dubai for a year, and later headed HR for Max & E-Max at Landmark Group, managing operations for one of the Middle East’s largest retail groups.
Returning to India, he was regional HR head at Tata Hitachi from 2011 to 2014, and then at Tata Housing from 2014 to 2018, covering North, East, West, Central and Northern regions. From 2018 to 2021, he led HR at Aavas Financiers at the group level, building end-to-end people processes.
With experience across 25+ nationalities and involvement in NSE and BSE listing journeys, Sethi brings expertise in culture building, leadership development, talent strategy and change management. At SK Finance, he will focus on strengthening the leadership pipeline and aligning talent strategy with business goals.
