Aniruddha Rege has joined Colgate-Palmolive as head, total rewards, India, taking on responsibility for the company’s total rewards agenda across Colgate-Palmolive India, Colgate Global Business Services and Colgate-Palmolive Bangladesh. In his new role, Rege will lead the Total Rewards function, covering the organisation’s rewards priorities across the three markets.
Rege brings experience across total rewards, HR business partnering and human capital consulting. His career has spanned consumer goods, healthcare, telecommunications and professional services, giving him exposure to both in-house HR and consulting-led rewards environments. Furthermore, his experience includes compensation and benefits, rewards strategy, HR operations and partnering with business functions on people priorities.
Rege has been with Colgate-Palmolive for over three years, having joined the company in May 2023 as assistant manager-total rewards. He was subsequently promoted to manager–total rewards in October 2024, before taking on the additional role of branch human resources manager-South & West in July 2025. He has now moved into the India Total Rewards leadership role.
Before joining Colgate-Palmolive, Rege spent over two years with Reckitt. He joined the organisation as assistant manager- rewards in January 2021 and later moved into the role of HRBP – R&D and SQRC and lead – HR operations, where he gained broader HR business partnering experience.
Earlier, Rege spent close to three years with Aon as a human resources consultant, working as a human capital consultant. His consulting experience gave him exposure to rewards philosophies and practices across organisations and sectors.
He began his HR career with Tata Teleservices, where he worked as deputy manager-HR between May 2017 and March 2018. Prior to this, he had a stint with Black Turtle as a summer intern, working as a consultant and gaining exposure to recruitment and talent acquisition processes.
Rege’s early professional experience also includes a role at Lensel Optics, where he worked across multiple functions including sales, marketing, purchase and stores, accounts and HR. During his tenure, he contributed to the company’s successful acquisition of ISO 9001:2008 certification within four months.
Aniruddha Rege holds an MBA in Human Resources Management and Services from K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, which he completed between 2015 and 2017. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
