Digital lending platform Kissht has launched Kissht Mitra, a mental wellness programme offering employees confidential access to psychologists and coaches, as companies increasingly look to make professional support more accessible at work.
Launched on 10 October, coinciding with World Mental Health Day, the programme has been developed in partnership with Yin Yang Leadership Solutions. Sessions will be available to employees from 15 October.
The initiative gives employees access to three practitioners with experience in psychology, psychotherapy, leadership coaching and organisational development. The programme is open to all employees, with practitioners bound by confidentiality agreements intended to help employees seek support without fear of judgement.
Kissht Mitra is designed to help employees manage personal and professional pressures and maintain a healthier work-life balance. The programme also aims to encourage employees to view seeking professional help as a regular part of maintaining mental well-being, rather than waiting until they reach a point of crisis.
The launch builds on the company’s existing approach to employee well-being, which emphasises open communication and encourages employees to raise concerns with colleagues and leaders.
Ranvir Singh, founder and CEO, Kissht, said, “The programme was intended to make seeking professional help feel more approachable and ensure employees did not have to deal with difficult days alone.”
Workplace mental health has become an important consideration as employees navigate overlapping pressures, including blurred boundaries between work and personal life, financial concerns and the pace of change. However, stigma and fear of judgement can still discourage people from seeking professional support. By offering confidential access to practitioners, Kissht Mitra seeks to lower that barrier for employees.
