Hubtown, a real-estate company, has appointed Vijayalakshmi Jayaraman Iyer as deputy chief human resources officer (DCHRO).  She moves from Securities where she served as CHRO for over three and a half years.

Iyer began her HR journey with BIFM as a senior executive-human resources, in July of 2005. A year into this role, she was elevated to assistant manager-HRD, in July of 2006.

She moved to Labnics Equipments as HR manager in November of 2007.  In less than two years, she helped set up the entire HR department of the organisation, handling end – to- end recruitments and assessing the company’s future staffing requirements over the short, medium and long-term.

Her next stop was Indiabulls Real Estate where she joined as assistant manager-human resources, in 2009. Over the next year and a half, she conceptualised the technical HR process, handled campus recruitments (Pan India) and looked into employee-engagement activities.

Iyer headed HR for Nirmal Lifestyle from 2011 to 2022, handling strategic HR planning, recruitment, employee orientation, HR networking, training & development, as well as employee grievance handling.

After a long and successful tenure of over 11 years with Nirmal Lifestyle, Vijayalakshmi Jayaraman Iyer took up the role of CHRO at Securities in December of 2022.

She is now all  set to bring her professional and meticulous approach to leadership in her new assignment at Hubtown.

HRKatha wishes Vijayalakshmi Jayaraman Iyer all the best!
