Ricoh Asia Pacific has announced the launch of AI Learning Week 2025, a region-wide initiative aimed at building practical artificial intelligence (AI)skills among employees and strengthening the company’s leadership in shaping the future of work.
The focus is on accelerating adoption of Microsoft Copilot, encouraging the use of custom AI agents, and preparing employees to apply AI responsibly and effectively in their roles.
The programme, co-sponsored by Microsoft and talent management provider Talogy, will run from 18 to 22 August 2025.
The event will involve more than a thousand employees across Ricoh’s Asia Pacific operations. Participants will take part in hands-on training sessions, leadership discussions, and solution showcases.
The initiative is anchored in Ricoh’s three-tier AI- innovation framework. This includes pre-configured solutions such as AI-enabled multifunction devices and workflow automation, advisory services to support responsible adoption, and advanced applications using AI agents and large language models tailored to customer needs. The structure allows Ricoh to scale innovation while adapting to local markets.
Local programmes are already underway. In Hong Kong, Ricoh has launched the Ricoh InnoAI Programme in partnership with Cyberport and the Ricoh Software Research Centre Beijing. The programme provides startups and partners with R&D support, infrastructure, and pathways for commercialisation. In New Zealand, Ricoh has advanced enterprise adoption of Microsoft Copilot, embedding the tool across finance, marketing, operations and digital services.
By linking training with real-world applications, Ricoh is reinforcing its role as a trusted partner for organisations exploring AI. The company aims to create an AI-ready workforce that can deliver scalable business outcomes, enhance productivity, and support customers across the region.
