Rakuteen Symphony, a global tech firm, has appointed Prajakta Kanaglekar as its first global chief people officer. Prajakta brings over two decades of international experience in human resources, having led key HR functions and spearheaded organisation and talent development at global enterprises.
In her new role, she will focus on creating a robust framework for employee development, strengthening organisational culture, and implementing programmes that support both individual growth and business objectives.
Prior to this, she was associated with Flipkart as its VP-HR, technology. She joined the company in 2019 as its senior director-organisation & development. She also brings nearly 14 years of experience at GE, where she held multiple roles across different business segments, including GE Oil & Gas and Baker Hughes.
Throughout her career, Prajakta has been instrumental in driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, foster leadership development, and build high-performance cultures. Her expertise spans talent management, organisational transformation, and strategic HR planning, making her well positioned to shape the company’s people strategy in line with its growth ambitions.
She holds a master’s degree in training and development from the Oakland University.
