ADP has appointed Gaurav Rathee as divisional vice president and head-human resources for its Global Shared Services operations in India and the Philippines. The appointment strengthens the company’s leadership structure at a time when shared services organisations are working to scale talent and embed deeper digital capabilities.

In his new role, Rathee will be responsible for strengthening ADP’s employer brand, nurturing next-generation talent, and driving initiatives that support employee growth and engagement.

Rathee will lead the HR strategy for a workforce of over 15,000 employees across multiple centres. His role includes shaping the organisation’s people agenda, strengthening leadership development, and supporting ADP’s long-term capability-building initiatives in both regions. The company is focusing on culture, collaboration, and workforce excellence as it expands its international operations.

Before joining ADP, he held senior leadership roles at Aon and Genpact. At these organisations, he worked across technology, analytics, operations and global transformation functions, gaining exposure to complex workforce mandates and large-scale organisational change.

An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, his academic background includes degrees and certifications from Delhi University, IMT Ghaziabad and MDI Gurgaon.

Rathee brings more than 25 years of experience in human resources and transformation. His career began in the Indian Army’s Parachute Regiment Special Forces, where he developed expertise in people leadership, training and performance management under demanding conditions. This early experience has influenced his approach to building resilient and purpose-driven teams.

With this appointment, ADP aims to accelerate its talent strategy and reinforce its position as a leading employer in the shared services landscape. The move also aligns with its broader vision to deepen capability, advance digital transformation and enhance the employee experience across India and the Philippines.
