Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has announced that Manu Wadhwa will transition from her role as chief human resources officer to strategy advisor, effective 1 July, 2026. The move marks a shift in leadership responsibilities as the company enters its next phase of growth.

In her new role, Wadhwa will work closely with the leadership team on key strategic priorities. She will leverage her deep institutional knowledge and experience in organisational transformation to support long-term business objectives.

Over the past seven years at SPNI, Wadhwa has played a critical role in shaping the company’s people and organisational agenda. She helped align HR more closely with business strategy, strengthened leadership capability, and modernised performance and rewards frameworks. Her contributions have also supported the organisation through periods of change, including leadership transitions and structural realignment, while fostering a culture that balances performance with inclusion.

Wadhwa brings a global perspective, with prior leadership experience at organisations such as General Electric, American Express, and The Coca-Cola Company.

Commenting on her transition, Wadhawa said, “SPNI has been an incredibly meaningful part of my journey over the past several years, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have contributed to its evolution during a period of significant change. As I transition into this new role, I look forward to continuing to work closely with the leadership team on strategic priorities and supporting the organisation’s next phase of growth.”

The transition reflects SPNI’s continued focus on leveraging experienced leadership to guide strategic direction while strengthening organisational agility.
