PalTech employees have packed 1,000 school kits for children from underserved communities in and around Hyderabad as part of a volunteer-led community initiative aimed at supporting students ahead of the new academic year.
The activity was carried out over three mornings before the start of the workday, with employees assembling kits containing school bags, notebooks, stationery and other essential learning materials. The company said the kits are being distributed across government and underprivileged schools, while a second phase involving another 800 kits is already underway.
The initiative is part of PalTech’s broader employee volunteering efforts, which focus on supporting education and community development through active employee participation.
Earlier this year, PalTech employees volunteered at Marepally Government School in Telangana’s Nalgonda district, where they repainted classrooms, improved school infrastructure and planted trees to enhance the learning environment.
The company also partnered with Seva Bharathi Telangana as the Platinum Sponsor and Technology Partner for the 10th edition of Run for a Girl Child. Along with sponsorship, PalTech provided technology support for registrations and digital event operations, helping manage participation from nearly 12,000 people.
In another community initiative, employees collaborated with Goonj to organise a clothing collection and distribution drive, promoting the reuse of clothes while supporting families in rural communities.
According to the company, these initiatives form part of its broader approach to employee engagement, encouraging staff to contribute beyond their day-to-day responsibilities through volunteering and social impact programmes.
PalTech said it plans to continue expanding community initiatives focused on education, rural development and other social causes as it grows its global technology services business. The company provides services across artificial intelligence, digital product engineering, cloud, data and analytics, and DevOps.
