    InvoiceCloud appoints Sharon Joy as head-HR, India

    Based in Hyderabad, Joy will lead the people function for the India operations, covering talent, leadership, culture and employee experience

    InvoiceCloud has appointed Sharon Joy as head-human resources, India, as the company continues to scale its Hyderabad Global Capability Centre (GCC).

    Based in Hyderabad, Joy will lead the people function for the India operations, covering talent, leadership, culture and employee experience. She will work with Biju Davis, SVP and India site leader, and Jessi Marcoff, chief people officer, to support the centre’s expansion across technology, product development and operations.

    Joy brings more than two decades of HR experience across technology, consulting, financial services and product-led organisations. Her experience spans talent strategy, employee lifecycle management, HR business partnering, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, HR operations and HR systems.

    Prior to joining InvoiceCloud, Joy spent more than six years with Centime, where she held the roles of senior director–human resources and director–human resources between April 2020 and July 2026. In her most recent role, which she took up in July 2022, she led HR for the fintech company across India and the US.

    Before Centime, Joy served as associate director – HR at Cognizant from January 2019 to April 2020. She previously spent over three years with UnitedHealth Group as senior human capital consultant, from September 2015 to January 2019, working as an HR business partner.

    Earlier, Joy was senior manager – human resources at Polaris Consulting and Services, where she worked from June 2014 to September 2015. She spent over eight years with DXC Technology, formerly CSC, from June 2006 to June 2014 as senior professional – human resources, managing HR business partnering responsibilities.

    She began her career with Tech Mahindra, formerly Mahindra Satyam, where she worked as executive – human resources from February 2004 to June 2006.

    Across her career, Joy has worked with diverse business units spanning IT services, consulting, product development, data solutions and IoT, while managing stakeholders across India, the US, Ireland and the Philippines.

    In her new role, Joy will focus on developing the HR strategy for InvoiceCloud’s expanding India operations and supporting the growth of its Hyderabad GCC. The company is hiring across product, engineering, AI and specialised technology roles as it builds out its India workforce.

    Joy holds an MBA in HR and Finance.
