    Anushree Singh joins Godrej Agrovet as CHRO

    Over the course of her career, she has worked across industries and geographies, with experience in aligning people strategies with business priorities

    Godrej Agrovet has appointed Anushree Singh as its chief human resources officer (CHRO). In her new role, Singh will lead the company’s people strategy, with a focus on strengthening organisational capability, developing talent and building a future-ready, high-performance organisation aligned with the company’s growth ambitions.

    Singh’s mandate will also include strengthening the people agenda and organisational capabilities as the company continues to invest in leadership, talent and future-ready capabilities.

    Singh brings more than two decades of experience across people strategy, organisational transformation, culture building, M&A integrations, board management and leadership development. Over the course of her career, she has worked across industries and geographies, with experience in aligning people strategies with business priorities, driving large-scale transformation and building high-performance organisations.

    Singh joins Godrej Agrovet after serving as CHRO at JSW Energy.

    She had earlier spent over five years across HR leadership roles at Avery Dennison. From April 2017 to June 2019, she served as CHRO, Label and Graphic Materials, South Asia, after which she moved to AkzoNobel as CHRO, India Subcontinent, in July 2019.

    During her tenure at AkzoNobel, Singh also served as global project manager – EVP, working with the global HR leadership team and executive committee members to define and embed the company’s employee value proposition across people practices and processes.

    Earlier in her career, Singh held HR roles with the Aditya Birla Group’s Pulp & Fibre business, Aircel, Xerox and Standard Chartered Investments and Loans.

    Welcoming Singh to the leadership team, Sunil Kataria, MD & CEO, Godrej Agrovet, said, “Anushree brings deep expertise in driving people transformation, culture building and organisational excellence, and we are delighted to welcome her to the team.     Her appointment comes as Godrej Agrovet continues to build organisational capabilities to support its next phase of growth and long-term business objectives.
