Real-estate company K Raheja Corp has rolled out a new leadership-development initiative titled ‘I-Lead’, aimed at nurturing early-career managers across its group companies. The programme is designed to equip professionals in the manager to assistant general manager grades with essential people- management skills to drive team performance and operational effectiveness.

Launched across its key businesses—Mindspace Business Parks REIT, Chalet Hotels, Inorbit Mall, and K Raheja Corp Homes—the first cohort of ‘I-Lead’ has already seen participation from over 100 managers. The initiative is part of the conglomerate’s broader effort to build strong managerial foundations and create a robust internal leadership pipeline.

‘I-Lead’ focuses on key managerial capabilities such as team accountability, goal setting, effective delegation, building trust, and managing feedback conversations. The programme combines classroom learning with real-world application, ensuring participants not only understand core management principles but also develop the ability to implement them in dynamic workplace settings.

The initiative is co-created by K Raheja Corp’s Learning & Development team in collaboration with Basil Tree Consulting. It includes expert-led sessions, reflection-based discussions, on-the-job application, and structured follow-up through assessments and feedback loops.

Urvi Aradhya, CHRO, K Raheja Corp, emphasised that managers are critical to translating strategy into execution. “With ‘I-Lead’, we are investing in helping our managers build the right mindset and skills to lead teams with greater clarity, empathy and executional strength. This programme is designed to support their transition into confident, capable people managers,” she added.

‘I-Lead’ adds to K Raheja Corp’s suite of people-centric programmes, which includes initiatives such as Anchal for expectant mothers, Pride Side for LGBTQ+ inclusion, Reach Out for mental well-being, and Sheroes for advancing women leaders. Through these programmes, the organisation continues to nurture talent at every stage of the career journey.
