Footwear company Relaxo has launched the inaugural edition of the Relaxo Premier League (RPL) 2026, an intra-company cricket tournament aimed at strengthening employee engagement through sport.

The tournament began on 13 September at the Shivaji College Sports Complex in New Delhi, with six teams and 120 employees participating. The initiative brings together employees from the company’s head office, warehouses and manufacturing plants, providing an opportunity for colleagues from different locations and functions to interact outside their regular work environments.

Through the cricket tournament, Relaxo is focusing on physical fitness, mental wellbeing, teamwork and workplace relationships. The company is also using the initiative to encourage greater camaraderie and a sense of belonging among employees.

The tournament will continue through the season, with the finale scheduled for November. The concluding event will bring participating teams together to mark the completion of the tournament and recognise employee participation.
