AI-first technology consulting firm Tenarai has appointed Hemant Kumar Ravi as vice president – human resources, strengthening its leadership team as the company accelerates its global expansion and AI-led talent- transformation journey. In his new role, Ravi will lead Tenarai’s global people strategy for more than 5,000 employees across India, the US, the UK, Latin America, and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
He will drive HR transformation, AI-powered talent initiatives, leadership development, HR shared services, and workforce capability, while building future-ready talent frameworks aligned with the company’s global growth strategy.
With over 19 years of experience, Ravi has built a distinguished career spanning HR strategy, talent transformation, people analytics, organisational development, HR technology, workforce planning, leadership development, and employee experience. According to his LinkedIn profile, he is passionate about translating business objectives into people strategies and has extensive expertise in AI-driven HR, Workday transformation, people analytics, and digital HR.
Prior to joining Tenarai, Ravi served as vice president & head-people experience & talent transformation at Infogain for nearly a year. There, he led global leadership development, HR transformation, people technology, total rewards, campus hiring, executive talent acquisition, immigration and mobility, and AI-powered talent architecture for the company’s global workforce.
Earlier, he worked with EY as GCC Leader – talent acquisition & people advisory for five months, leading large-scale hiring and talent strategy for global capability centre (GCC) setups.
Before that, Ravi advised global organisations as programme leader – people tech transformation & analytics at Third Bridge Group, supporting GCC establishment, HR technology, leadership capability, performance management, and organisational design initiatives.
He also held senior HR leadership roles at Casagrand Builder, serving as senior vice president & group head – human resources. There he led the people strategy for more than 4,500 employees across multiple businesses and later took on the additional responsibility of heading administration and information technology.
Earlier, Ravi was director & head of human resources at Kantar, where he drove global people transformation, talent strategy, organisational integration, and leadership partnering across India, Poland, and Mexico.
His career also includes leadership assignments at AB InBev, Accenture, Randstad India, Wipro, Reliance Industries, Larsen & Toubro, and Cognizant, where he gained extensive experience across HR business partnering, organisation design, digital HR, HR technology, people analytics, performance management, total rewards, talent management, and large-scale transformation programmes.
Ravi holds a PGDM in Human Resources and Information Technology from the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad, and a BTech in Electronics & Communication from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology. He is also certified in Scrum, Data Science & People Analytics, Servant Leadership, and AI-enabled people processes.
