Falcon Group has appointed Anil Mohanty as its new group HR head, a move that reflects the company’s commitment to organisational transformation and digital excellence.

Most recently, Mohanty served as chief people officer, DN Homes. Prior to that, he was head of people & culture, Medikabazzar, where he played a pivotal role in building a tech-enabled HR ecosystem and driving change- management initiatives during the company’s rapid growth.

With over three decades of HR leadership experience, Mohanty has worked with some of the most prominent organisations in India such as Reliance Jio, Idea Cellular, Tata Teleservices, Huawei Telecommunications and Uninor.

At Reliance Jio, he spent seven years in critical leadership positions—first as regional HR head for North India, based in Gurgaon, and later at the corporate headquarters, where he led HR for the rural business vertical.

Known as a seasoned HR strategist, Mohanty has extensive expertise in organisational-development interventions, performance management, talent acquisition, grievance handling, policy formation, training and development, employee relations, and disciplinary proceedings. His track record reflects a strong ability to align people strategies with business objectives while fostering a culture of growth and inclusion.

Welcoming him to the Falcon family, Priyanka Mohanty, director-Falcon Group, said the company is confident his rich experience will be instrumental in shaping Falcon’s HR- transformation journey, particularly in the areas of digitalisation and change management.

Expressing his excitement, Mohanty said “I’m extremely delighted to join Falcon Group, where the management’s intent for transformation and change is clear and compelling.”

With a legacy spanning 40 years, Falcon has built a diversified presence across seafood exports, real estate, feed, retail and Agrofriz Foods. The appointment of Anil Mohanty marks a significant step toward building a future-ready, people-first organisation.
