Amara Raja Group has elevated Manvi Singh to business HR head – advanced cell technologies (AR-ACT), a critical role within the conglomerate’s fast-growing New Energy division. The appointment comes at a time when the business is scaling rapidly, with a strong focus on building future-ready capabilities in the advanced cell and energy-storage ecosystem.

Singh transitions into this role after serving as associate vice president – HR for the New Energy business, where she played a key role in establishing the foundational HR architecture for one of Amara Raja’s most innovation-focused verticals. Her nearly 20-year career across global organisations equips her with deep experience in organisation design, talent strategy, capability building, governance and large-scale workforce development. She has worked with major multinationals from diverse industry sectors– service, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, oil and gas, chemicals and construction.

In her new mandate at Amara Raja Group, Singh is expected to shape the people and culture strategy for the advanced cell technologies business, ensuring it has the talent depth, organisational strength and leadership pipeline required for its next phase of expansion. Her appointment aligns with the Group’s ambition to build a world-class, technology-driven energy- solutions business anchored in innovation and global competitiveness.

A significant portion of her professional journey was shaped at Pidilite Industries, where she spent eight years leading HR for the sales and marketing organisation. During this period, she built a solid talent pipeline, strengthened performance systems, and supported the development of a high-performing field force of more than 6,000 employees through structured capability-building programmes. She joined the company in 2018 as its head BHR-international and domestic subsidiaries.

Her earlier roles at Reliance Industries, Baxter International, Novartis and Godrej Industries further broadened her expertise across talent acquisition, rewards, performance management, compliance and international HR operations.

An alumnus of Xavier Institute of Social Science, Singh holds a BSc from St. Xavier’s College.
