    Marriott International elevates Khushboo Sharma to director-HR

    Marriott International has promoted Khushboo Sharma to director-human resources, marking another milestone in her five-year journey with the global hospitality company. In her new role, she will lead the people agenda, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, and HR strategy to support Marriott’s operations.

    Sharma has been associated with Marriott International for more than five years, progressing through multiple leadership roles. She joined the company in 2021 as human resources manager (HOD) at Courtyard by Marriott Ahmedabad, before being promoted to assistant director-human resources. During her tenure in Ahmedabad, she played a key role in the property’s rebranding initiative.

    Before joining Marriott, Sharma served as assistant manager – human resources (HOD), The Oberoi Group, for two years, leading the HR function at Trident Udaipur.

    Earlier, she spent over a year with Radisson Hotel Group as assistant manager – human resources (HOD) at Radisson Udaipur, strengthening her experience in hospitality HR operations and people management.

    She began her career with Taj Hotels, where she spent nearly six years, progressing from human resources associate to human resources executive at the iconic Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur.

    According to her LinkedIn profile, Sharma specialises in HR best practices, talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, compensation and benefits, and is passionate about aligning people strategies with business objectives while creating a strong employee-centric culture.

    She holds an MBA in Human Resource & Information Technology from Rajasthan Technical University and an LLB. from the University College of Law, Mohanlal Sukhadia University.
