    IndusInd Bank appoints Amitabh Kumar Singh as CHRO

    Singh brings with him over 28 years of diverse HR leadership experience, spanning banking, financial services, and technology sectors

    IndusInd Bank has appointed Amitabh Kumar Singh as its new chief human resources officer (CHRO) and part of senior management of the Bank., effective 10 November, 2025.

    Singh brings with him over 28 years of diverse HR- leadership experience, spanning banking, financial services, and technology sectors. Singh has been associated with the ICICI Group for more than two decades, holding key positions across its various entities. Most recently, he served as CHRO at ICICI Home Finance, where he led strategic HR initiatives focusing on people development, organisational transformation, and leadership capability building.

    Prior to this, Singh spent 11 years with ICICI Bank and 8 years with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, driving HR excellence, performance management, and cultural integration across large, multi-functional teams.

    Singh began his career with Larsen & Toubro as its human resources manager in the year 1997. He has also worked with several other companies such as Atos, Tata Interactive Systems and Mphasis.

    A postgraduate in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (PMIR) from Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi, Singh is a Chemistry (Hons.) graduate from St. Xavier College, Ranchi.

    His appointment underscores IndusInd Bank’s continued focus on strengthening its people-first agenda, fostering a high-performance culture, and advancing its leadership-development and talent-engagement strategies as it drives sustainable business growth.
