Falcon Marine Exports has announced the elevation of Priyanka Mohanty to the role of Joint Managing Director (JMD), effective March 23, 2026.

The decision follows approval from the company’s Board of Directors and shareholders and has been made in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013. Mohanty, who previously served as Executive Director (Woman Director), has been a key member of the organisation’s leadership team.

Her elevation reflects the company’s continued focus on strengthening leadership continuity and driving long-term strategic growth. Over the years, Mohanty has played a significant role in shaping the company’s business direction, contributing to both operational and strategic initiatives.

In her new role as Joint Managing Director, she will take on expanded responsibilities, providing leadership across key business functions while continuing to guide the company’s vision and growth trajectory. Her appointment comes at a time when organisations are increasingly relying on experienced internal leaders to ensure stability while navigating evolving market dynamics.

Falcon Marine Exports, a prominent player in the seafood export industry, has been focusing on strengthening its market presence and operational capabilities. Leadership transitions such as this are seen as critical in maintaining business momentum and aligning organisational strategy with future opportunities.

Mohanty’s elevation also underscores the growing presence of women in senior leadership roles within traditional industries, reflecting a broader shift towards more inclusive leadership structures.

With her deep understanding of the business and proven leadership capabilities, Mohanty is expected to play a pivotal role in steering the company through its next phase of growth.
