Emaar India has appointed Neha Saxena Shenoy as its new chief human resources officer (CHRO), marking a significant leadership addition as the real estate major sharpens its focus on people strategy, culture and organisational growth. In this role, Shenoy is expected to focus on building high-performance cultures, strengthening leadership capability, and aligning people strategy with business growth.

Her experience across sectors and geographies positions her well to drive organisational transformation and enhance employee experience as the company enters its next phase of growth.

Shenoy brings with her a diverse and global HR- leadership background, having worked across industries and organisations such as Info Edge India, Cairn Oil and Gas, Honeywell, Reckitt, Microsoft, Adobe, and General Electric. Over the years, she has led large-scale transformation, talent strategy, leadership development, and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives across complex and high-growth environments.

Prior to this appointment, Shenoy was associated with InfoEdge as its executive vice president, strengthening her exposure to digital and platform-driven business models.

In her earlier stint with Cairn Oil and Gas, she played a key role in shaping the organisation’s talent build-buy strategy, employee experience, HR shared services, and DEI agenda for a diverse workforce.

An alumna of the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Shenoy began her HR career with Larsen & Toubro in 2004, before moving to Fidelity Investments, where she handled HR generalist and staffing responsibilities. Her early career included stints at GE Capital and GE Global Research, followed by participation in General Electric’s prestigious HR Leadership Programme, where she gained cross-functional exposure across talent development, staffing, and organisational effectiveness.

Her journey at GE spanned multiple roles, including HR manager for GE Aviation Engineering teams in the US and HR leadership roles at GE Healthcare in India. She later led university relations and diversity & inclusion for South Asia, driving talent pipelines and inclusive practices across multiple GE businesses.

Subsequently, Shenoy moved to Adobe as a senior HR business partner, where she worked closely with leadership teams on people strategy and organisational development. At Microsoft, she played a pivotal role in shaping India’s people strategy, driving HR transformation and operational excellence across business units.

Her tenure at Reckitt saw her take on regional and global responsibilities, including serving as the global diversity and inclusion lead. She later joined Honeywell as HR director, where she provided leadership to large and diverse business units, further strengthening her experience in managing scale and complexity.

Her appointment reflects a broader trend of organisations increasingly prioritising HR leadership as a strategic driver of business outcomes, particularly in sectors navigating change, scale, and evolving workforce expectations.
