    SHL appoints Paramita C. as CPO

    The former Cornerstone OnDemand HR leader brings more than 25 years of global experience in talent, culture and organisational transformation

    SHL, a global firm in talent acquisition, workforce management, and psychometric science, has appointed Paramita C. as its chief people officer, strengthening its leadership team with a seasoned HR executive whose career spans more than two decades across global technology and talent-focused organisations. Based in London, Paramita will lead SHL’s global people strategy, with responsibility for talent management, employee engagement, leadership development, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), culture transformation and organisational effectiveness.

    She joins SHL from Cornerstone OnDemand, where she served as vice president, global HR business partnering. In that role, she partnered with business leaders to drive workforce strategy, organisational effectiveness and people initiatives aligned with business growth and transformation priorities.

    Prior to Cornerstone, Paramita spent more than 14 years at PayPal, holding a series of increasingly senior leadership positions across HR business partnering, talent development and learning. Most recently, she served as senior director and HRBP leader for Global Marketing and Consumer Product Group. Earlier, she led HR for Global Customer Operations and also headed talent development and learning initiatives at a global level.

    During her tenure at PayPal, she played a key role in leadership development, workforce transformation, learning strategy and organisational capability building across multiple geographies. Her experience also includes overseeing global customer operations training and curriculum design functions.

    Earlier in her career, Paramita worked with Dell Technologies as an enterprise training consultant, with SAP as an education consultant and with HP as a senior technical trainer, building a strong foundation in learning, capability development and employee growth.

    A member of the Forbes Human Resources Council, Paramita is recognised for her expertise in talent management, organisational transformation, employee engagement and leadership development. She is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and holds certifications in Emotional Intelligence Coaching, Social Style Coaching and Project Management.

    She earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Madras.
