3i Infotech has appointed Shavee Sehajpal as chief human resources officer (CHRO), bringing 24 years of experience across strategic HR, organisational transformation, workforce planning, talent management, culture, HR analytics and digital HR. In her new role at 3i Infotech, Sehajpal brings cross-industry and international HR- leadership experience as the company continues its digital transformation journey.

Her career spans IT, technology, analytics, manufacturing and logistics, with experience across India, APAC, the US, UK and Europe.

Sehajpal joins 3i Infotech from NTT DATA, where she served as HR head – India from March 2023 to January 2026. In the role, she led a 30-member Centre of Excellence and HR business partner team supporting around 4,000 employees across India.

At NTT DATA, Sehajpal partnered with CXOs on HR strategy, workforce planning, executive hiring, performance alignment and cost management. She also rebuilt the people & culture function into a COE-led and analytics-driven HR organisation and led the harmonisation of HR practices across four legal entities, covering policy, payroll, compliance, compensation and learning and development.

Her tenure also included introducing an HR scorecard and workforce analytics to support data-led decision-making, automating employee lifecycle processes and leading an AI-enabled sales capability-building programme for more than 350 employees.

Before NTT DATA, Sehajpal was vice president–human resources at Algonomy between 2021 and 2023. She also worked independently as an HR advisor, virtual CHRO and HR consultant, supporting organisations across manufacturing, logistics and consulting on HR transformation, recruitment, process redesign and the establishment of HR functions.

From 2017 to 2020, she was HR director – Honeywell Connected Enterprise at Honeywell, where she supported the APAC business as part of its global HR leadership team. She also led HR for shared-services functions spanning finance, procurement, law, marketing communications, customer experience and order management. During her tenure, she also served as India President for Prevention of Sexual Harassment.

Earlier, Sehajpal spent more than four years with Maersk Global Service Centres as Global Human Resources Business Partner for the finance function, supporting a workforce of around 2,800 employees across India, the Philippines and China. Her responsibilities included organisation design, leadership hiring, change management, performance management, compensation and benefits, talent management, engagement, retention and learning interventions.

Her earlier career includes HR roles at Wipro BPO, Allcargo Global Logistics and Tata Consultancy Services. At TCS, she worked across HR projects, competency management, assessment frameworks, HR technology consulting and resource management. She was also involved in setting up TCS BPO operations in Ukraine, including hiring more than 100 employees, and helped establish an HR department supporting a 10,000-employee operation in Mumbai.

Sehajpal holds an MBA in Human Resources from ITM Group of Institutions and a BSc in Zoology from Sri Venkateswara University. She is also a Hogan Certified Executive Coach.
