Ravi Chopra has joined Aditya Infotech, the company behind CP Plus, as group CHRO and president. He brings more than two decades of experience across human resources, organisational transformation, talent management and business partnering. In his new role, Chopra will be part of the leadership team responsible for shaping people strategy, business partnering and cultural transformation across the group.

Chopra’s experience spans consumer durables, fast-moving electrical goods (FMEG), automotive and building materials, where he has led organisational restructuring, cultural transformation and people-engagement initiatives aimed at driving business growth and building high-performing teams.

Chopra joins Aditya Infotech after spending over three years with Merino Group as group CHRO, a role he held from April 2023 to August 2026. In a farewell post, Chopra described his 40-month tenure at Merino as a journey marked by learning, challenges and meaningful experiences, while thanking the leadership team and his HR colleagues for their trust and support.

Before Merino, Chopra served as group CHRO at Hero Motors Company from June 2021 to October 2022, where he led the HR function for businesses spanning bicycles, e-bikes and automotive components.

Prior to that, he spent nearly five years with Orient Electric as vice president & head–HR from July 2016 to May 2021. At Orient Electric, part of the CK Birla Group, he led HR for the business covering fans, lighting, home appliances and switchgears, with four manufacturing units and sales offices across India. He also drove cultural transformation and people- development initiatives during his tenure.

Chopra spent nearly 12 years at Samsung Electronics, from October 2004 to July 2016, rising to the position of director – HR. His responsibilities during the tenure included corporate HR, regional HR, HR business partnering and HR operations.

He began his career in HR with Hero MotoCorp, as senior officer – HR in 1998. In this role, he worked across plant HR and industrial relations. He subsequently moved to Gillette India’s Duracell division as senior executive – HR, handling plant HR and learning and development, before joining Jindal Stainless as assistant manager–HR.

With experience spanning both corporate and business-facing HR roles, Chopra has worked across talent management, leadership development, employee engagement, change management, organisational transformation and HR operations.

His appointment at Aditya Infotech comes as the company continues to strengthen its leadership team, with Chopra bringing extensive experience of managing people functions across diverse businesses and leading HR through periods of transformation and growth.
