Škoda Auto’s LGBTQ+ employee network, Škoda Proud, has completed five years, with the automaker receiving a gold award in the LGBTQ+ Friendly Employer 2026 programme organised by Pride Business Forum.

Founded in 2021, the network has around 215 members and is open to all employees. It provides a platform for LGBTQ+ employees and allies to engage in discussions, attend workshops and exchange experiences on workplace inclusion.

Over the past year, Škoda Proud organised more than 30 workshops, training sessions and informal gatherings. The network also collaborates with employee groups across the Volkswagen Group and organisations in other industries to share practices related to diversity and inclusion.

Škoda Auto’s wider employee network structure includes Internationals@Škoda and WomeN@work, which provide forums for employees to connect and discuss workplace-related issues.

The company also participated in European Diversity Month in May and the Prague Pride Festival this year.

For Škoda Auto, the five-year milestone reflects the continued operation of an internal network focused on LGBTQ+ employees and their allies.
