Deepwatch, the US-based cybersecurity company, has launched a new global capability centre in Bengaluru as part of its plan to scale engineering and R&D operations worldwide. The centre opens with a 50-member team and is set to hire an additional 100 employees over the next year, reflecting the company’s strong focus on tapping into India’s growing cybersecurity and AI talent base.
Hiring plans will span roles across engineering, cloud operations, platform development and product management. The focus is on talent capable of building AI-enabled tools and enhancing managed security operations, at a time when organisations globally are facing increasingly complex cyber threats.
The Bengaluru hub will function as a core engineering and technology engine for the company, supporting platform development, advanced threat intelligence and cross-regional product innovation. For Deepwatch, which specialises in AI-driven managed detection and response services, the new GCC marks a strategic step in strengthening development capacity and accelerating innovation cycles across time zones.
By building a large team in India, the company aims to enable round-the-clock engineering workflows and expand its ability to develop next-generation cybersecurity solutions. The centre is designed with collaborative workspaces and modern infrastructure to support high-performance engineering and cloud operations teams.
Deepwatch’s leadership views India as a long-term strategic hub for cybersecurity innovation. With the country’s expanding expertise in AI, cloud and threat intelligence, the Bengaluru GCC is expected to become one of the company’s most important development bases and could form the foundation for future expansion across Asia.
As global cybersecurity providers increase investments in India, Deepwatch’s latest move reinforces the country’s growing role in shaping advanced, AI-powered security capabilities for worldwide operations.
