US-based IT firm, Harness has announced plans to significantly expand its workforce in India, aiming to cross the 1,000-employee mark over the next three years. The move underscores India’s growing importance in the company’s global growth and innovation strategy.
Currently, Harness employs around 480 professionals in the country. These teams are spread across key functions, including research and development, operations, and go-to-market roles. India plays a critical role in supporting the company’s product engineering and customer-facing capabilities.
The proposed expansion will see sustained hiring across these functions, strengthening India’s position as a major talent and delivery hub for the company. Harness indicated that the growth plan is aligned with its long-term objective of scaling operations while building deeper technical and commercial capabilities in the region.
With demand for cloud-native and software delivery solutions continuing to rise globally, the company is investing in talent to support innovation and business expansion. The hiring push is expected to unfold in phases over the next three years as Harness continues to scale its presence in the Indian market.
