HSBC India has launched the 12th edition of its India Business Case Programme for the academic year 2025-26, aiming to prepare undergraduate students for the demands of a rapidly- evolving job market. The initiative focuses on equipping youth with both technical expertise and vital soft skills, addressing a pressing skills mismatch in the country.
Implemented by United Way of Mumbai and Sattva Consulting, the HSBC India Business Case Programme uses a hybrid format, combining e-learning, workshops, mentorship from industry leaders, and direct interaction with C-suite executives. Participants tackle real-world business case studies, gaining hands-on exposure to corporate challenges and decision-making processes.
The programme also provides a global platform. The top two teams will represent India at the HSBC–University of Hong Kong Asia-Pacific Business Case Programme, competing with peers from across the region.
Last year’s edition drew close to 8,000 registrations from 158 colleges nationwide. With a renewed push to include institutions from tier 2 and tier 3 cities, HSBC aims to expand its reach and offer equal opportunities to students beyond metropolitan hubs.
By blending academic learning with practical industry exposure, HSBC India seeks to nurture a new generation of professionals ready to meet the complexities of the modern workplace.
