LTIMindtree (LTM) has entered into a collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur to design and deliver training programmes focused on building artificial intelligence capabilities within its workforce. The initiative will focus on equipping employees with practical and future-ready skills required in a rapidly evolving digital environment.

The partnership aims to combine industry expertise with academic research to create structured learning pathways in AI and related technologies.

As part of the collaboration, the two organisations will roll out specialised AI training modules, hands-on workshops and joint research efforts. These programmes are intended to support continuous upskilling and reskilling, enabling employees to stay relevant as organisations increasingly integrate AI into their operations.

The effort reflects a broader trend of closer industry-academia collaboration to address skill gaps in emerging technology domains. By leveraging academic depth alongside real-world application, the partnership seeks to create more impactful and industry-aligned learning experiences.

The initiative is also expected to support knowledge exchange between the two institutions. While LTM brings practical insights from business and technology implementation, IIT Kharagpur contributes its strong foundation in research and advanced technical education.

Overall, the collaboration underscores the growing importance of structured AI learning programmes as companies invest in digital transformation. It also highlights the role of academic partnerships in helping organisations build a workforce that is better prepared to navigate the demands of an AI-driven future.
