Kirloskar Industries has appointed Rohan Sapkal as its new head–human resources, effective 1 January, 2026. The appointment comes at a time when listed industrial companies are sharpening their focus on strong HR leadership to support business continuity, governance, compliance and long-term talent strategies.

Sapkal moves into the role after serving as group head-HR at Kirloskar Limitless, where he spent over four years overseeing group-wide people initiatives. In this capacity, he played a key role in driving talent management, human capital strategy and employee relations across the Kirloskar ecosystem, aligned with the group’s legacy of innovation and collaboration.

In addition to his group role, Sapkal most recently served as HR head – distribution and aftermarket, Kirloskar Oil Engines between February 2025 and January 2026, further strengthening his exposure to HR leadership in manufacturing-led and business-critical functions.

Prior to joining the Kirloskar Group, Sapkal built a strong foundation in talent acquisition and workforce planning. He was associated with Cummins India as a recruitment consultant for nearly four years, following earlier stints with Cognizant Technology Solutions in its Talent Acquisition Group (TAG–ITIS) and with Randstad India as an account specialist. His career spans over a decade of experience across recruitment, talent acquisition, employee relations and human-capital management.

The appointment has been disclosed in accordance with SEBI’s listing and disclosure requirements and underscores Kirloskar Industries’ intent to strengthen leadership capability in key people and governance roles.

Headquartered in Pune, Kirloskar Industries is part of the Kirloskar Group and operates as a diversified industrial and investment company, with interests spanning manufacturing-linked businesses and strategic holdings across group companies and sectors.
