Shivtek Spechemi Industries, the flagship specialty chemicals company of the Shiva Group, has announced key leadership appointments as part of its expansion and transformation journey. The company has roped in Pankaj Pandey as head-human resources and Gurpreet Singh as president, finance.

These appointments are aimed at reinforcing Shivtek’s vision of building a resilient, high-performance organisation while balancing financial strength with people-centric growth.

Pandey, who brings over 11 years of HR experience across startups, corporates, and multinational organisations, will lead the company’s talent strategy, employee engagement, cultural transformation, and leadership-development programmes. His mandate is to create an inclusive, people-first workplace that enables business growth while ensuring employee well-being and sustained engagement.

Prior to this, he was associated with WEN Energy Systems as its HR manager. Recognised for his deep understanding of both technical and non-technical requirements and his strong sourcing skill, he has worked with several other companies such as KPMG, Digipeergo and GoobyFlight Travels.

Commenting on his new role, Pandey said, “I look forward to building an inclusive and high-performance culture where people can thrive and contribute meaningfully. My focus will be on aligning talent strategy with business growth, while keeping employee well-being and engagement at the core.”

Alongside, Gurpreet Singh, a chartered accountant and cost & management accountant with over 25 years of experience, will drive financial strategy, strengthen compliance and governance, and build financial resilience. Singh has previously led NSE and BSE listings, treasury operations, and large-scale ERP implementations.

Welcoming the new leaders, Kashiish A Nenwani, director, Shivtek Spechemi Industries, said, “We are delighted to welcome Gurpreet and Pankaj. Their expertise in finance and people management will be pivotal in driving our next phase of growth. These appointments reinforce our commitment to governance, innovation, and nurturing talent.”

With these moves, Shivtek Spechemi is placing equal emphasis on financial discipline and HR transformation—two pillars it considers essential for sustaining growth and stakeholder confidence.
