Third Wave Coffee has announced the appointment of Sandeep Sinha as its new chief human resources officer (CHRO), effective October 2025. In his new role, Sinha will drive the company’s people and culture strategy, focusing on strengthening organisational foundations, fostering learning-led growth, and building a high-performance culture to support the brand’s next phase of expansion.
Prior to this, Sinha was head-human resources, Spencer’s Retail. In this role, he partnered with leadership on business turnaround strategies, policy redesign, and digital learning initiatives. He also played a pivotal role in establishing the quick commerce channel by designing the right structure, processes and people plan to ensure seamless execution. He joined the company in 2023.
Sinha has also worked with several other companies such as Landmark Group, Domino’s Pizza India, ICICI Bank.
With over 19 years of experience across leading retail and QSR brands. His expertise lies in organisational design and restructuring, culture transformation, talent management, performance management, employer branding, employee engagement, leadership development, succession plan, HIPO talent engagement and retention, rewards, incentives design, as well as compensation and benefits administration.
An alumnus of the Management Education Research Institute (New Delhi), Sinha has completed the Future Leaders Programme at IIM Ahmedabad and is currently pursuing the Emerging CHRO Programme at XLRI Jamshedpur. He is also a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) coach.
