Latha Sabrish has been promoted to senior director – HR, Virtusa, recognising her long-standing contribution to leadership hiring, talent strategy and human resources management during her more than 14-year tenure with the global digital engineering and technology services company

The elevation underscores Virtusa’s continued focus on strengthening its leadership talent capabilities while recognising Latha Sabrish’s role in building and scaling executive hiring practices across key markets.

In her current capacity, Sabrish leads executive and leadership hiring across the APAC and ANZ regions, driving recruitment strategies for senior leadership roles spanning delivery, consulting and sales functions. Over the years, she has played an instrumental role in establishing and expanding Virtusa’s leadership talent- acquisition function, helping create frameworks and processes to support the organisation’s growth across multiple geographies.

Before specialising in executive recruitment, she served as a business unit HR partner within Virtusa, supporting several strategic business units and horizontal functions. In these roles, she gained extensive experience across talent management, employee engagement, performance management, workforce planning, employer branding and retention initiatives. Her work also focused on enhancing employee experience and developing strategies aimed at improving millennial engagement and retention.

Sabrish joined Virtusa in December 2011 and has spent over 14 years with the organisation. Prior to that, she worked with Hexaware Technologies for nearly six years as manager – human resources, partnering with business leaders to deliver HR interventions aligned with organisational objectives and employee needs.

Earlier in her career, she served as a resource specialist at Steria (formerly Xansa), where she managed end-to-end recruitment across multiple technology domains, supporting large-scale hiring and rapid ramp-up requirements. She began her professional journey with Exclusive Search Recruitment Consultants as a team lead, overseeing IT recruitment assignments for Fortune 500 clients and managing recruitment teams across diverse technology areas.

With more than two decades of experience spanning leadership hiring, HR business partnering, talent management and workforce strategy, Sabrish has built a reputation for aligning people priorities with business growth objectives. Her promotion reflects Virtusa’s emphasis on nurturing internal talent and recognising leaders who have contributed significantly to the company’s people agenda and organisational success.

Latha Sabrish holds an MBA in HR and Marketing from MOP Vaishnav College for Women.
