Arvind Advanced Materials has appointed Nishigandha Kulkarni as its new chief human resources officer, strengthening its leadership team at a time of continued growth and diversification. With close to twenty years of experience across varied sectors, she brings a strong track record in talent strategy, organisational development, and capability building.

In the new role, she is expected to strengthen the talent pipeline, deepen organisational capability, and support the company’s long-term strategy through people-centric growth.

Kulkarni’s career spans FMCG, retail, renewable energy, telecom and consumer services, giving her a broad understanding of workforce dynamics across different business environments. She has led HR functions, people programmes, and culture- transformation initiatives for multiple organisations, building a reputation for designing agile structures and developing leadership capability at scale.

Before joining Arvind Advanced Materials, she headed HR at Iscon Balaji Foods, where she worked on strengthening people systems and productivity frameworks. She earlier served as CHRO, Wellness Forever Medicare, guiding the company through phases of expansion and organisational restructuring in 2021.

Kulkarni has also held leadership roles at several renowned organisations such as Lakmé Lever, Suzlon Group and TalentMetrix. Her early career experiences at Raymond and Reliance Communications further contributed to her expertise in managing large training ecosystems, creating leadership frameworks, and supporting culture-building efforts during critical transformation phases.

Kulkarni holds a strong foundation in behavioural training from SIES College of Management Studies, which has remained central to her approach to leadership and people development.

Her appointment reinforces the company’s focus on building a future-ready workforce while enhancing HR governance and development systems across the organisation.
