DAMAC Group is moving ahead with an ambitious expansion strategy in India as it launches DAMAC Shared Services India (DSSI), a new global capability centre designed to power the company’s worldwide operations. The UAE-based conglomerate is building two major hubs—in Noida and Pune—with an aggressive hiring roadmap that places workforce growth at the centre of its plans.

The Noida centre is expected to scale to more than 250 employees, while Pune will add over 100 professionals by 2026. Recruitment will roll out in multiple phases, reflecting DAMAC’s intent to build high-performing teams equipped to support diverse global functions. These include finance, HR, sales, marketing, operations, commercial services and digital transformation. Both offices will function as talent-driven hubs, reinforcing efficiency and innovation across DAMAC’s international business network.

India’s position as a global GCC powerhouse has strengthened this expansion strategy. The country currently hosts more than 1,700 global capability centres, a figure projected to cross 2,400 by 2030. The booming technology and AI workforce adds further momentum, with the talent base expected to more than double to 1.25 million by 2027.

For DAMAC, this makes India a strategic market for building strong, tech-enabled teams capable of supporting large-scale operations across regions. The centres aim to provide Indian professionals with exposure to DAMAC’s international projects while creating seamless integration with teams in the UAE and other global markets.

Commenting on the launch, Hussain Sajwani, founder, DAMAC Group, stated, “With DSSI, we are writing a new chapter in DAMAC’s global growth story. India’s talent ecosystem and technology readiness make it a strategic choice for our shared-services centre. We are committed to building high-performing teams by 2026, delivering leading services to support DAMAC’s global ambitions.”

    M. P. John, chief human capital officer, DAMAC, said, “We are investing in India’s human-capital strengths and enabling a services centre that will transform how we work across regions. We look forward to building a culture of innovation, empowerment and global collaboration, right from our India hubs.”

As DAMAC widens its global footprint—which already spans Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East and North Africa—the India expansion represents a pivotal step. With a fast-growing workforce and a clear focus on capability development, the company is positioning its India hubs as engines of future growth and operational excellence.
