IG Petrochemicals has appointed Pramod Sanap as its new chief human resources officer and senior management personnel, strengthening its HR leadership with an executive who brings nearly two decades of experience across employee relations, manufacturing HR and workforce transformation.
The appointment, approved by the company’s Board of Directors, comes into effect from 19 May, 2026, following the resignation of Dr Rajkumar VP, whose tenure concluded on 18 May.
Sanap joins IG Petrochemicals after spending over seven years at Laxmi Organic Industries, where he most recently served as senior vice president – HR and employee relations. During his tenure, he led HR- transformation initiatives across the organisation and managed people strategy for the integrated supply chain function, which accounted for a significant share of the company’s workforce. His responsibilities included talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, performance management, employee engagement, coaching, union management and broader people process transformation initiatives.
Prior to this, Sanap held leadership positions at Diageo India, where he served as plant HR head and HR business partner for a strategic manufacturing cluster. He led HR operations for large manufacturing units and played a role in building organisational culture, managing industrial relations and driving workforce-transformation initiatives.
His career also includes multiple roles at AkzoNobel India, where he worked across greenfield and large manufacturing sites, leading workforce planning, capability development, change management and employee relations. He began his professional journey at Hindustan Unilever, where he worked across manufacturing facilities and gained experience in industrial relations, employee engagement and HR operations.
Sanap holds a master’s degree in Labour Studies from the University of Mumbai.
