Raychem RPG has appointed Abhishikta Tripathi as chief human resources officer (CHRO). She brings over 14 years of experience across business partnering, talent strategy, executive talent acquisition, employer branding, rewards and organisational capability. In her new role, Tripathi will lead the company’s people strategy, with a focus on leadership development, organisational capability and building people practices to support the company’s growth and transformation.

Prior to joining Raychem RPG, Tripathi was HR head – commercial functions at Reckitt, a role she took up in January 2025. She was responsible for HR and people initiatives supporting the company’s commercial functions.

Before Reckitt, she spent close to two years with The Coca-Cola Company as director – employer branding & executive talent acquisition, from April 2023 to January 2025. Her role covered employer branding and executive talent acquisition, with a focus on strengthening talent strategy.

Tripathi spent nearly five years with L’Oréal, joining the company as senior manager – rewards in September 2018. She subsequently moved into the role of HR business partner – corporate functions in April 2021 and was appointed head – talent acquisition & employer branding, India, in June 2022.

Earlier, Tripathi spent more than six years with Marico, where she began her career as a management trainee in June 2012. She later held roles including HR manager – campus relations, HR manager and business HR manager – research and development. During her tenure, she worked across campus relations, employer branding, internal communications, people development, employee recognition and talent management.

An alumna of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Tripathi holds a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management.

Her career spans both specialist and business-facing HR roles across consumer goods and multinational organisations, with experience covering talent acquisition, rewards, employer branding, business partnering and succession planning.

Good appointment. The Reckitt and Coca-Cola background plus TISS is an unusual mix for a manufacturing CHRO; most of that path runs through IT services.

Worth watching what happens with wellbeing at a JV like Raychem RPG, because the plant workforce and the corporate one need genuinely different things, and most programmes are built for the second and rolled out to both.
