AGGCON Equipments International has appointed Bhupendra Kaushal as its new chief human resources officer (CHRO). In his new role at AGGCON, Kaushal will be responsible for leading the organisation’s human resources function. His extensive background in manufacturing HR, industrial relations, workforce governance, talent management and HR transformation is expected to support the company’s people and organisational priorities as it continues to build its workforce.

Bringing more than four decades of experience across human resources, Kaushal’s career spans manufacturing, infrastructure, services and other sectors, besides 11.5 years with the Indian Air Force.

Kaushal joins AGGCON after serving as director – HR at a reputed organisation from October 2024 to August 2026. Before that, he was executive director at the Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD), where he led HR services and training initiatives for organisations across sectors.

He brings extensive experience in managing HR and employee relations across large, multi-location workforces. Prior to his recent roles, Kaushal served as head – HR (manufacturing) at Zydus Wellness for more than four years, overseeing human resources and employee relations across manufacturing units in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim and Gujarat.

He previously served as chief human resources officer at Ginni Filaments, managing the complete employee lifecycle across six manufacturing locations in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Gujarat. At JK Tyre & Industries, where he was head – HR & IR, his responsibilities included wage settlements, union elections and plant-level HR operations.

Kaushal also served as CHRO at IL&FS Environmental Infrastructure & Services, where he oversaw HR, industrial relations, administration, employee health and safety across 16 plant locations and six regional offices. Earlier, as AGM–HR & IR at DENSO, he managed HR and industrial relations for a workforce of around 2,800 employees.

His earlier corporate career included an eight-year stint with Star Paper Mill, where he handled HR and IR for a workforce of around 4,500 employees and worked with eight trade unions and an employee association. He also held regional HR responsibilities at Global Telecom Solutions, managing HR processes across Maharashtra.

Kaushal began his professional career in the Indian Air Force, where he served as an SNCO from 1984 to 1996. During his 11.5-year tenure, he handled administrative and safety functions and was involved in maintaining workplace discipline. He also received commendations during his service.

He holds a PhD in Human Resource Management from Noida International University and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and Personnel Administration from Pune University.
