    Amrita Singh elevated to head-HR, Uno Minda

    Uno Minda has elevated Amrita Singh as its new head-human resources, marking an important step in her two-decade journey as an HR leader known for driving transformation and people-centric growth. Her diverse experience across global IT, manufacturing, textiles, infrastructure and mobility sectors positions her strongly to lead the company’s evolving talent agenda.

    In her new mandate at Uno Minda, she will focus on strengthening the organisation’s HR roadmap, deepening leadership and talent capabilities, and supporting the company’s shift toward future-ready mobility solutions. Her elevation underscores the company’s commitment to building a robust, growth-oriented people ecosystem aligned with its long-term vision.

    Singh has been a key part of Uno Mindarika (a joint venture between Uno Minda Group, India and Tokai Rika, Japan) and the Infotainment Joint Venture, where she played a central role in strengthening HR governance, building capability frameworks, and aligning people practices with the organisation’s long-term strategic goals. Her work has spanned culture building, operational excellence, and shaping leadership effectiveness across teams. She joined the company in 2023.

    Prior to this, Singh was associated with IT BY DESIGN as its head-HR for India. Additionally, she has held leadership roles across several major organisations, including Genpact, Arvind, Rapid Metro Rail Gurgaon and GMR Group. In these roles, she contributed to complex transformation programmes, managed large and diverse workforces, and supported business transitions during periods of expansion and change. Her expertise lies in HR transformation, talent management, organisational development, and building agile and inclusive workplaces.

    An alumna of IIM Ahmedabad, Singh is widely regarded for her ability to foster high-performance cultures and lead with strategic clarity. Her passion lies in driving innovation and empowering the employees to achieve their full potential.
