Pidilite Industries has appointed Ashish Prasad as its new chief human resource officer, effective 14 November, 2025. The move signals Pidilite’s continued focus on strengthening its leadership team to drive organisational growth and talent excellence.

With over 28 years of experience across diverse sectors, including building materials, consumer goods, and retail, Prasad brings a deep understanding of business transformation and people strategy. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad, he has built a strong career shaping business and talent functions for several reputed organisations.

At Pidilite, Prasad will be responsible for driving the company’s human resources strategy, fostering a culture of innovation, and supporting the company’s people-centric growth vision. His appointment underscores Pidilite’s commitment to investing in leadership that integrates strong business acumen with a focus on employee engagement and capability building.

Prior to this, Prasad was associated with Sintex BAPL, part of the Welspun Group, as its chief executive officer (CEO). In this role, he led strategic initiatives to enhance business performance and organisational agility.

Throughout his professional journey, Prasad has held key leadership positions at companies such as Asian Paints, Aditya Birla Group, The Coca-Cola Company, Madura Garments Lifestyle, Teamlease Services, Holcim India (ACC), and Ashirvad Pipes. He has also been associated with Pidilite earlier in his career, marking this appointment as a return to familiar territory.

As Pidilite continues to expand its footprint in both domestic and international markets, the addition of an experienced HR leader such as Ashish Prasad is expected to further reinforce the company’s position as an employer of choice in India’s manufacturing and consumer goods sector.
