Vivek Sapre has joined Fibe, formerly known as EarlySalary, as chief human resources officer (CHRO), taking on the leadership of the fintech company’s people function.
Sapre brings experience across human resources, people strategy, organisational development and talent management, alongside an earlier career spanning technology, financial services, consulting and business strategy.
He joins Fibe from Veranda Learning Solutions, where he served as CHRO from November 2023 until September 2026. His resignation from Veranda became effective at the close of business on 28 September 2026. In his resignation letter, Sapre cited his decision to pursue an external opportunity aligned with his long-term career goals.
At Veranda Learning Solutions, Sapre spent nearly three years as the company’s senior HR leader, overseeing the people agenda during a period of evolution in the education sector.
His move to Fibe adds another fintech-focused chapter to a career that has moved across multiple functions. Sapre’s HR leadership journey began in 2017 when he joined NeoGrowth Credit as head of HR and corporate affairs, marking his transition into senior people leadership.
Before moving into HR, Sapre built experience across technology, business strategy and financial services. He began his career as a software/test engineer at Infosys before moving to Telcon, part of Tata Motors Hitachi, as a marketing manager in 2009.
He subsequently worked as a senior business analyst at Mu Sigma and later joined L&T Finance as national product and strategy manager, where his portfolio covered auto, passenger vehicle, commercial vehicle, agriculture and construction vehicle finance.
Sapre also spent close to three years with EY, working on financial services and business-advisory projects before making the shift into HR leadership.
His career, therefore, brings together business and people experience, spanning technology, consulting, financial services and education. At Fibe, this cross-functional background will feed into his mandate of strengthening the organisation’s people function as the fintech continues to build its business.
For Sapre, the move marks another step in a career that has evolved from technology and business strategy into HR leadership, with people, organisational capability and business growth increasingly coming together at the senior HR table.
