    Ghanashyam Hegdekatte elevated to CHRO, Mahindra Holidays & Resorts

    Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India, popularly known as Club Mahindra, has elevated Ghanashyam Hegdekatte as its new chief human resources officer (CHRO), effective immediately.

    In a statement, the company expressed its excitement, saying, “We are delighted to welcome Hegdekatte as the new CHRO.”

    A homegrown leader within the Mahindra Group, Hegdekatte has built an extensive career spanning multiple leadership roles across various group companies. Most recently, he served as head-organisation effectiveness for the Automotive and Farm Sectors, leading critical functions such as talent management, organisation development, learning & development, and inclusion & diversity.

    Previously, he headed HR for several business units including automotive business (manufacturing & quality and international operations), personal vehicle (sales and marketing), commercial vehicle, Mahindra Truck and Bus, construction equipment, and Mahindra EPC & business strategy.

    Hegdekatte joined Mahindra Group in 2011 as its manager-HR business partner.

    Throughout his tenure, he has collaborated closely with senior leadership to design people-centric strategies, strengthen organisational capability, and navigate complex HR challenges during key phases of growth and transformation.

    An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur and proud Mahindra Group Management Cadre (GMC) professional, Hegdekatte’s career exemplifies Mahindra’s philosophy of growing leadership talent from within.

    He began his professional journey as a software engineer at Nokia India after earning a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from BMS. College of Engineering, Bengaluru.

    Mahindra Holidays noted that under his leadership, it looks forward to continuing its “people-first journey” and strengthening its culture of growth and inclusion.
