Ahmedabad-based IRM Group has appointed Richa Ahuja Sharma as head–HR & administration, reinforcing its leadership bench as the organisation accelerates growth across its diversified non-pharma businesses. The move comes at a time when the group is working to integrate its expanding operations under a cohesive strategy with stronger workforce planning and operational alignment.
In her new role, Sharma will lead human resources and administrative functions across multiple business verticals. The group’s portfolio includes agriculture, animal health, pharma engineering, facilities management and aviation support. Her mandate will focus on aligning people strategy with business priorities, strengthening leadership capability and building scalable HR systems to support long-term expansion.
Sharma brings over 17 years of experience in human resources across manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, financial services and consumer-facing industries. Most recently, she served as vice president–HR & administration at Junomoneta Finsol, where she led HR strategy, governance frameworks and employee experience initiatives while overseeing administrative operations such as compliance and workplace safety.
Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at organisations including Sintex Plastics Technology, Piramal Pharma Solutions, Lotte India’s Havmor Ice Creams, Arvind and Cadila Pharmaceuticals. Her work has spanned organisational design, talent management, sales HR, plant HR operations and large-scale workforce transformation projects. She has also managed complex business situations such as attrition control, leadership transitions and operational continuity during periods of disruption.
An alumna of the Executive Programme in Leadership Management at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, Sharma has experience working with both growth-stage companies and established enterprises. Her appointment reflects a broader shift among diversified industrial groups toward professionalising HR functions and embedding people strategy into core business planning.
As IRM Group scales its non-pharma operations, leadership effectiveness and an integrated human capital approach are expected to play a critical role in sustaining momentum across its varied business lines.
