    Pawan Kumar Pandey has been promoted to vice president – human resources at DeHaat, the online marketplace providing agricultural products and services to farmers, marking a key milestone in his journey with the agri-tech leader. Since joining the company in 2019, he has played a pivotal role in shaping DeHaat’s HR transformation—strengthening its talent ecosystem, compliance practices, and organisational capabilities as the company expanded nationwide.

    At DeHaat, he has driven key initiatives in industrial relations, statutory compliance, employee engagement, and leadership development, fostering an agile and inclusive workplace. He joined the company back in 2019.

    With over two decades of experience across agri-tech, manufacturing, and media, Pawan brings a holistic approach to people strategy and operational excellence. Before joining DeHaat, he held senior HR leadership positions at EVA Group, Venky’s India, HT Media Group, and Amar Ujala, where he aligned HR practices with evolving business goals.

    Pandey is an experienced human resources orofessional with a demonstrated history of working in the logistics and supply chain industry. His expertise lies in industrial relations, statutory compliance, management information systems (MIS), interviewing, payroll, and succession planning.

    A postgraduate in personnel management and industrial relations from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Pandey is known for his people-first leadership, empathy, and strategic foresight.

    His elevation to vice president – HR reflects the trust he has built and his continued contribution to DeHaat’s growth story. In his new role, Pawan will focus on strengthening the company’s human capital strategy and driving its next phase of organisational excellence.
