Procter & Gamble India (P&G) has named Robin Thadathil as its chief human resources officer (CHRO), effective 1 April, 2026. He succeeds PM Srinivas, who will be stepping down to pursue other interests.

Thadathil brings over 16 years of experience within P&G, having joined the organisation in 2010 in Singapore. Over the years, he has held diverse HR- leadership roles across commercial teams, manufacturing operations, product supply and country HR functions, working across multiple global markets including Singapore, the US and Southeast Asia.

In his most recent role as senior director – human resources, based in Singapore, he led HR for the Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam cluster, while also serving as the HR leader for the P&G Singapore site. Prior to this, he was human resources director for P&G’s Club and Amazon businesses, based in Seattle, where he partnered with senior leadership to support a business exceeding $8 billion in scale across key US markets.

His earlier roles include serving as managing director – HR for supply chain and manufacturing in Indonesia, where he oversaw large manufacturing operations, and as regional HR leader for product supply in Southeast Asia, managing talent strategy and capability development for over 1,000 employees across multiple countries. He has also held key positions in ASEAN HR operations, talent management and organisational design, and began his career at P&G as an associate manager in Asia HR operations, focusing on analytics, executive compensation and diversity initiatives.

Speaking about his appointment, Robin Thadathil said, “I’m incredibly excited and truly honored to embark on this new chapter with P&G, returning to India. This position presents a unique, unprecedented chance to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, translating our integrated growth strategy into reality. I will put my best foot forward to continue the legacy of people practices in India.”

Outgoing CHRO PM Srinivas reflected on his tenure, stating, “It has been an absolute honour and a privilege to serve as the CHRO for P&G India. In my most recent assignment, and my longest at P&G of about 8 years, I have had the wonderful opportunity to bring our integrated growth strategy to life in our commitment to deliver exceptional business results, by ensuring our most important set of stakeholders – our employees, see value in being a part of this company.”

He further added that the organisation has built a strong talent pipeline and an inclusive culture, expressing confidence that Thadathil‘s leadership will help scale both business and people growth in the years ahead.
