    RPG’s Supratik Bhattacharyya joins Adventz Group as G-CHRO

    Bhattacharyya holds an MBA from the Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands, and brings more than 20 years of cross-functional leadership experience

    Veteran HR and business leader, Supratik Bhattacharyya has taken over as the group chief human resources officer (CHRO) at the $4 billion Adventz Group of Companies. A seasoned HR leader with a strong business background, Bhattacharyya moves from RPG Group, where he served as chief talent officer for nearly a decade.

    At Adventz, he will lead HR strategy for one of India’s most diversified conglomerates with interests across engineering, infrastructure, agriculture, lifestyle, and real estate. The group’s extensive portfolio includes companies such as Zuari Industries, Texmaco Rail & Engineering, Paradeep Phosphates, Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilisers, Zuari Infraworld India, and Hettich India.

    Bhattacharyya holds an MBA from the Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands, and brings more than 20 years of cross-functional leadership experience. His career spans across global and Indian companies including ExxonMobil, JK Paper and Larsen & Toubro. His blend of business acumen and people management expertise has positioned him as one of the few HR leaders with a strong grounding in P&L and operational leadership.

    Reflecting on his decade-long stint at RPG Group, Bhattacharyya described it as an “extraordinary chapter filled with growth, friendship, challenge and joy.” In a farewell note on LinkedIn, he expressed gratitude to colleagues and mentors who shaped his journey, calling it a deeply meaningful experience.

    Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, he shared, “A new chapter now begins at Adventz Group of Companies—a group with a rich legacy and strong presence across sectors. New beginnings, same purpose… enabling growth, inspiring progress, and building a better world.”
