CARE Ratings has promoted Binita Deb to associate director–human resources, reinforcing its focus on building a stronger, future-ready people function. The elevation comes at a time when the organisation is expanding its operations and sharpening its governance practices, making HR a critical enabler of its long-term growth.

In her new role, Deb will lead key initiatives aimed at strengthening workforce planning, improving employee experience and modernising people processes. Her mandate will include shaping interventions that support the organisation’s evolving priorities, ensuring HR practices remain agile and aligned with business needs.

Deb has been a part of the company’s HR team for several years, contributing significantly to talent acquisition, policy development and employee- engagement programmes. She joined the company in 2021 as its HRBP and talent management.

An alumna of ITM Business School, Deb has worked with several other companies such as Mahindra Finance, The House of Anita Dongre, Tata Capital and Kotak Bank.

Backed by more than a decade of experience, Deb’s expertise lies in performance management, capability enhancement and culture-building initiatives. This background positions her well to take on broader responsibilities at a strategic level.

An independent, dynamic and self-motivated professional, Deb is known for her empathetic approach to employees and her communication skills. She’s passionate about learning new things and always tries to do her best in any work assigned.

Deb’s elevation is expected to further bolster the HR framework at CARE Ratings, supporting the organisation’s ambition to build a resilient, skilled and engaged workforce.
